Optimum Vehicle Protection Plus includes:

Subaru Optimum Vehicle Protection Plus is available only at time of vehicle purchase, on new and pre-owned vehicles, whether you are paying cash, financing or leasing.
Tire & Wheel Protection with Optional Cosmetic Coverage includes:

  • Repair or replacement1 of a flat tire if structurally damaged due to a covered road hazard
  • Replacement of a wheel if damage from a covered road hazard prevents the wheel from sealing to the tire or maintaining the tire manufacturer's air pressure specifications
  • Coverage of approved costs associated with the repair or replacement of tires, and/or the replacement of wheels, including labor charges, mounting, balancing, value stems and taxes
  • Provides continued coverage for replacement tires and wheels if they meet the manufacturer's size specifications
  • Towing expenses reimbursed up to $100 per occurrence in the event of road hazard damage
  • Transferable for a fee if you sell your vehicle to a private party or if another party assumes the lease agreement
Dent Protection includes:

The paintless dent repair process permanently
removes door dings and minor dents up to four (4) inches in diameter without harming your vehicle's factory finish

  • Hail damage covered up to the lesser of your primary insurance deductible (if a claim was filed) or $1,000 per incident
  • At your convenience, repairs can be performed at the dealership, or at your home or office
  • Transferable for a fee if you sell your vehicle to a private party or if another party assumes the lease agreement

Additional benefits:

  • No limit on occurrences or claim benefits
  • No mileage limitations
  • No deductible

Coverage exclusions may apply:

  • Dents or dings that are larger than four (4) inches in diameter
  • Dents or dings that cannot be repaired by the paintless dent repair process
  • Damage caused by vandalism
  • Repairs that will affect or damage the vehicle's
  • paint or finish

Subaru Dent Protection is available only at time
of vehicle purchase as part of Optimum Vehicle
Protection Plus, Optimum Vehicle Protection, or
as a stand-alone product.
Windshield Protection includes:

  • Repair of chips and cracks in the front windshield caused by propelled rocks or other road hazard debris
  • Unlimited repairs of the front windshield
  • At your convenience, repairs can be performed at the dealership, or at your home or office
  • Transferable for a fee if you sell your vehicle to a private party or if another party assumes the lease agreement
Additional benefits:

  • No limit on occurrences or claim benefits
  • No mileage limitations
  • No deductible

Coverage exclusions may apply:

  • Replacement of the front windshield
  • Damage to areas other than the front windshield
  • Stress cracks or larger than six (6) inches
  • Damage caused by hail, vandalism or neglect

Protection, or as a stand-alone product
Key Protection includes:

  • Cost of replacement vehicle key and/or transponder up to $500 per occurrence
  • 24-hour vehicle lock-out assistance up to $100 per occurrence
  • Towing assistance to the nearest registered service facility or other facility of your choice, up to $100 per occurrence
  • Taxi and/or rental vehicle reimbursement if vehicle key cannot be replaced on the same day, up to $75 per occurrence
  • Transferable for a fee if you sell your vehicle to a private party or if another party assumes the lease agreement

Additional benefits:

  • Locksmith reimbursement (up to $100
  • per occurrence)
  • House key replacement of up to three (3) house keys (up to $75 per replacement key)
  • Replacement benefit for additional nonprogrammable keys on the vehicle key ring, up to $250 per occurrence
  • Emergency message relay for up to three (3) emergency contacts 

Coverage exclusions may apply:

  • Replacement keys, if you did not receive two (2) master keys at the time of purchase/lease of the vehicle
  • Replacement keys, if your keys are covered by the manufacturer, repairer, or supplier's warranty or recall
  • Any replacement keys made without prior authorization
